Location page

The Location page shows where the van is, using the GPS receiver plugged into the panel's USB port.

The map

A map with a marker at your position; when you're moving faster than about 0.5 km/h the marker grows a heading arrow. The chip in the header reads GPS FIX when position is known or ACQUIRING while the receiver searches — while acquiring, the map shows how many satellites are in view.

Map tiles come from the internet, so offline the map itself greys out while your coordinates and stats keep working.

Following / Recenter: by default the map follows the van. Dragging the map turns following off so you can look around; tap Recenter to snap back and re-engage following.

The stat tiles

Latitude, Longitude, Speed (km/h), Heading, Altitude, and Satellites (with the fix-quality figure HDOP underneath). A dash means that value isn't available yet.

No GPS fix?

GPS needs sky view — a fresh receiver indoors or under a metal roof may never get a fix. Check that the GPS receiver is plugged into the panel's USB-C accessory port, then give it a few minutes outdoors. See GPS receiver.
