GPS receiver
Position comes from a USB GPS receiver plugged into the panel — the GMouse VK-162 (a small corded USB puck) is the supported unit. It feeds the Location page: the map, coordinates, speed, heading, altitude, and satellite count.
Setting it up
Plug the receiver into the panel's USB-C accessory port (the one not used for flashing/service). That's all — there is no entry on the Devices page; the GPS is active whenever a receiver is plugged in, and unplugging and replugging it works at any time.
Place the puck where it can see the sky — on the dash by the windscreen works well. The first fix after a long time unpowered can take a few minutes outdoors.
Problems?
- ACQUIRING forever → the receiver has no sky view (metal roof, underground) or is in the wrong USB port. The satellite count on the Location page tells you whether it's hearing anything at all.
- Map grey but coordinates fine → the map tiles need internet; the GPS itself doesn't.
- USB hubs are not supported — plug the receiver in directly.
