Truma iNet X
The Truma iNet X type connects to a Truma iNet X control panel and gives you the Combi heater and boiler on two dashboard cards:
- Climate — room temperature, mode (Off / Heat / Vent), target temperature (16–30 °C in half-degree steps, in Heat mode), and a ten-step fan level. A flame icon shows while the burner is lit.
- Hot Water — water temperature and the preset buttons Off / 40° / 60° / 70°, plus the Energy Source row: Diesel on/off and electric at 900W or 1800W (Truma allows mixed operation; tapping the active electric level turns electric off).
Pairing — read this first
The Truma panel accepts one connected app at a time, and pairing must be armed on the Truma side:
- Close the Truma app on your phone (fully — it holds the connection otherwise).
- On the Truma iNet X panel, open its settings and start add device / pairing mode.
- On the Devices page here, the Truma should appear in Discovered nearby — tap Add, then Restart to apply.
The Truma remembers only a handful of paired devices (about four) and silently refuses new ones when full — if pairing never completes, remove an old entry from the Truma's own paired-device list and try again.
Because the Truma phone app and this system can't be connected at the same time, pick one: while the dashboard is connected, the app won't connect, and the other way round.
Problems?
- Cards never come alive after adding → the Truma app is still connected, pairing mode wasn't armed, or the Truma's pairing list is full (see above).
- An error code on the Hot Water card comes from the Truma itself — check gas/diesel supply and the Truma manual.
- See A device stopped updating.
