LED controllers (SP630E / SP530E)
The BanlanX SP630E and SP530E types control BanlanX/SPLED LED controllers. Each drives up to three outputs at once: two plain single-colour strips (on the controller's CW and WW wires) and one addressable colour strip. Installing one adds two cards:
- Strips — a brightness slider for each of the two single-colour strips.
- Addressable — brightness plus a rainbow colour slider (pick a hue even while the strip is off; it applies at the next turn-on).
Adding one
Both models are recognised automatically in Discovered nearby on the Devices page. The RGB order setting in the device's configuration fixes swapped colours on the addressable strip: if red shows as green, try another order (GRB is the most common for addressable strips).
Running all three outputs at once (SP630E and SP530E)
The controller must be set to the mode "SPI - RGB + 2 CH PWM" for the addressable strip and both single-colour strips to work at the same time. The panel selects this automatically where the controller allows it; if one of the outputs stays dead, open the BanlanX phone app once and set that mode manually.
SP530E: Bluetooth or WiFi
The SP530E has both radios, and its Transport setting chooses which the panel uses:
- Bluetooth — works out of the box; occupies one Bluetooth connection.
- WiFi — the panel gives the controller the panel's own WiFi details over Bluetooth once, then controls it over the network, freeing the Bluetooth connection for another device. In the address field you can keep the MAC (recommended — the panel finds the controller's current network address by itself), enter a fixed IP, or leave it blank to adopt the only controller on the network.
A transport change takes effect at the next panel restart, not immediately — use Restart to apply on the Devices page. If a WiFi-mode controller drops off the network (new router, changed WiFi password), the panel notices after a few minutes and re-runs the WiFi handover over Bluetooth at its next restart.
The SP630E is Bluetooth-only.
Problems?
- Wrong colours → change RGB order.
- One output dead → set "SPI - RGB + 2 CH PWM" in the BanlanX app (above).
- Sliders frozen → see A device stopped updating.
