Level (Pitch & Roll)

The Level (Pitch & Roll) device is the tilt sensor built into the panel itself — nothing to buy or pair. Installing it adds two dashboard cards, Pitch (nose up/down) and Roll (side to side), each showing a little van graphic tilted by the live reading and the angle in degrees. The dot on each card turns green when you're within half a degree of level — park, watch the cards, drive onto your ramps until both are green.

Setting it up

  1. On the Devices page, Add device → Level (Pitch & Roll) (no MAC or key needed), then Restart to apply.
  2. Open the device again and set Mount side to how the panel is mounted in the van: Right, Left, Front, Back, or Floor (the wall the panel's back faces). If pitch and roll appear swapped or a direction reads backwards, this is the setting to change.
  3. Park the van somewhere you know is level and tap Calibrate to level. This zeroes both readings and is remembered permanently.

The Pitch offset and Roll offset fields let you nudge the zero point by hand instead of (or after) calibrating — useful if you calibrated on ground that turned out to be slightly off.

Because the sensor is inside the panel, it measures the panel's tilt. As long as the panel is mounted square to the vehicle that is the vehicle's tilt; a panel mounted at an odd angle is exactly what Calibrate to level corrects for.
